1. Shipping Origin

All orders ship FOB Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Title and risk of loss transfer to the buyer at the point of shipment. Foundry Art Studio manufactures all products locally in South Florida, which means faster transit times for East Coast and Southeast deliveries compared to West Coast manufacturers.

2. Shipping Methods

Standard Freight (LTL)

Most orders ship via LTL freight carriers. Orders are professionally packed on pallets with corner protection and stretch wrap. Typical transit times after production:

Small Parcel (UPS/FedEx)

Smaller orders may ship via UPS or FedEx Ground at our discretion or upon request. Small parcel shipments are typically delivered within 3–7 business days depending on destination.

Local Delivery

For dealers in the South Florida area (Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach counties), local delivery may be available. Please inquire when placing your order.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are calculated at the time of shipment based on weight, dimensions, and destination. Freight costs are added to your invoice and are due with the balance payment. We work with multiple carriers to secure competitive rates for our dealers.

Small Order Freight

Orders under $750 in merchandise that require LTL freight may be subject to a flat freight estimate. Because carriers apply minimum pallet rates regardless of shipment size, freight on small orders is proportionally higher than on full-pallet shipments.

All freight estimates above assume commercial dock-to-dock delivery. Residential and curbside deliveries add $120.00; liftgate service adds $60.00 if not specified at the time of order.

Tip: Consolidating orders above $1,500 eliminates the freight approval step and gets you the best per-piece shipping rates. Contact us to discuss scheduled shipment windows for volume orders.

4. Delivery Terms

Standard delivery is curbside — the carrier will unload shipments at the sidewalk, loading dock, or end of driveway. Any delivery beyond curbside is considered "inside delivery" and may incur additional charges.

Residential locations include apartments, churches, schools, farms, storage facilities, and home-based businesses. Limited access locations include hotels, hospitals, military bases, construction sites, country clubs, and similar sites.

5. Delivery Receipt

When receiving a shipment, please:

  1. Inspect all packaging before signing the delivery receipt. Note any visible damage on the receipt.
  2. Count all pieces and verify against the packing slip.
  3. Photograph any damage to packaging or products immediately.
  4. Sign with exceptions — if there is any visible damage, write "DAMAGED" on the delivery receipt before signing.
Important: Signing a delivery receipt without noting damage may limit our ability to file a carrier claim on your behalf. Always inspect before signing.

6. Tracking

When your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information. You can also check order status through your dealer account on our website. If you have questions about a shipment in transit, contact us at orders@foundryartstudio.com.

7. Third-Party Carrier Accounts

If you prefer to ship on your own carrier account (FedEx, UPS, or freight), please provide your account number at the time of ordering. Orders shipped on third-party carrier accounts are the responsibility of the buyer from the point of pickup. Foundry Art Studio is not liable for damage or loss on third-party carrier shipments.
